Be the best dad you can be in 2010 - a message from Tau Huirama, Jigsaw CEO (Strategic Relationships) 

As we start the new year and enter a new decade, it's the perfect time to reflect on the kind of future we want to create for our children.  It's a perfect time to reflect on what we, as fathers, stepfathers and grandfathers, can do through our words and actions to show our partners, our children and our mokopuna that we love them.
 
I invite all dads to make a pledge to be the best dad they can be in 2010 and to identify ways to put this intention into action.  I invite dads to think about their role in the family; What can you do to ensure that members of your family support each other and work as a team to help the children in your family thrive?
 
Parenting is possibly the toughest role we will ever play in our lives but it is potentially the most rewarding.  I would like to honour all dads and the contribution they are making in bringing up future generations.  At Jigsaw, we will do all we can to raise the profile of dads and to support them.
